Aleta Yarrow

     Aleta is a landscape artist that enjoys focusing on night and dreams.  She uses acrylics , oils, colored pencil and other media to bring those dreams to life with bold colors and creates art that is pleasing to hang but also has function.  One of her popular items is a journal.  Aleta enjoys illustrating children’s books and also has developed early childhood professional programs.

      Aleta lives in Cowanesque and grew up in the PA Wilds.  Her artwork has been on display in the West End Gallery in Corning New York for more than 20 years.  In 2007   Aleta received a 2007 Creative Arts fellowship from the PA Council on the Arts, administered by the PA Humanities Council.
