Jim Degler

Jim Degler grew up around woodworking.  His grandfathers love for working with his hands and wood rubbed off on young Jim.  During his time serving the United States in the Army, Jim found his way to woodworking tools.  His favorite is a scroll saw.

Currently Jim is employed as a forest ranger in the Elk State Forest near his home in Emporium.  The forest provides numerous ideas for his scenery cut into saws.  Currently Jim is recovering from back surgery and has plenty of time to work on designs and saws.
