Karen and her husband recently moved from southeastern Pennsylvania to Cameron County looking for a seasonal residence.  But they found themselves spending more time in Cameron County and now call Driftwood home!  When the decision was made to live in Cameron County year round the first thing on the to do list was transporting Karen’s kitchen.  The separate facility sits on a portion of the couples 80+ acres.  Plans call for fruit trees to be added!

The couple have been making spreads for three decades.  They can’t call their products jams because they do not add 70 percent sugar to the yummy spreads.  You get the real taste of apples, strawberries, and apricots!  Most of the produce Karen purchases is from local growers.  She believes in keeping money in the community! 

Karen enjoys trying new recipes and has developed two pepper spreads.  Add cream cheese and crackers and you have a ready made appetizer for the next get together!  Watch for gift baskets at the holidays and if you have a recipe to share she would love to try it out in her kitchen!
