Cameron County boasts of twelve places of worship. The ministerial coordinates weekly radio broadcasts and hosts numerous ecumenical services. One of the most popular is the Journey of the Cross held on Good Friday. Christians follow the cross from church to church in downtown Emporium with a stop inside for reflection.
